Latest reviews of Oxford Junior Illustrated Dictionary – improve spelling, learn words and explore the English language app for iPhone and iPad

Inadequate
No customer service or app support. Not customizable to add pictures or words Canine, feline, airplane, plane, are just a few words that werent included. No intuitive spelling (type kwortr and Chambers will assist in finding the correct spelling: quarter) The definitions, however are simplified enough for my six year old to read. Dont buy this over priced app. I want my money back
Nice but dishonest
A nice dictionary marred by dishonest advertising. The title and the pictures show illustration but they dont tell you that 99 percent of the words are not illustrated, even simple nouns. Not worth the 9.99 dollars and I hope that you take this as a word of caution before you blow your money on this.
Not worth the money
Very few words are included in this supposedly "Oxford" junior dictionary. I saw few illustrations as well. We ended up pulling out our beautiful old school Macmillan childrens dictionary book, far superior . Wish I could get the money back.
A waste of $10
Purchased this for my 2nd grader who has to look up words like "mimic" and "disruption" for homework, but none of his homework words are ever included in this dictionary. A complete waste.
